Disney Cruise Line vacation.
Sailing with Captain Mickey is fun for everyone, whether you’re young or young at heart! Although there are many great options onboard at the bars and lounges should you choose to imbibe, you’re also able to
bring your own wine and beer as well. Kaitlyn, I’m happy to report that Guests 21 years of age and older may bring onboard on Embarkation Day 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (750 mL or less) or 6 beers (no more than 12 ounces each); the same amount of alcohol also applies at each port of call as well. So, if you find a nice bottle or two of wine at a port, feel free to bring back with you (as long as the bottles are 750 mL or less). And if you purchase any liquors or spirits at a port of call, you’re still able to bring these back with you; however, they will be stored until the end of your cruise.
Alcohol brought onboard cannot be consumed in a public area or in any lounge. There’s a small fridge in your stateroom that you can use to keep your wine or beer cool. You’re welcome to drink in your stateroom, or if you have a verandah, even better! If you need wine glasses, corkscrew or a bottle opener, you can request for these items from your stateroom host. And if you wish to consume your bottle of wine in one of the dining rooms, there’s a $29 per bottle corkage fee (subject to change).
