What is allowed to bring aboard from a port? Can you bring food and beverages on the ship from port?

    Hi there, Jamie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited for you and your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation; its just around the corner and before you know it, you will be heading to sea with Captain Mickey for more fun than you can imagine!

When you embark at the beginning of your sailing or reenter the ship after being at port, you are welcome to bring non-perishable snacks in sealed, original packaging.  You may not bring perishable items onboard.  Any Guest aged 21 years or older can also bring onboard alcohol, but must adhere to the Disney Cruise Line’s alcohol policy.  Many times while at port my family has picked up some local snacks to bring back onboard with us, but we always make sure they are non-perishable and we have not had any issues with bringing those onboard.  My husband also likes to try some of the local beers and will pick up a couple bottles before getting back on the ship so he can enjoy them onboard.

As long as you don't bring back any of the items on the Disney Cruise Line prohibited food items list, you should be able to bring back a few souvenir snacks when you return to the ship from your day at port!

Have a wonderful Disney Cruise Line vacation, Jamie!  Wishing you many magical memories onboard!

    Happy Sailing!
