Are we allowed to take bottled water into Walt Disney World? Severe food allergy, are we allowed to take food into Walt Disney World?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Elwin!

I have a son with severe food allergies, so I understand the importance of planning ahead for vacations! Walt Disney World Resort take Special Dietary Requests, including food allergies, very seriously. You can bring outside food and drinks, including bottled water, into the theme parks as long as they are not in glass containers and includes no alcoholic beverages. You can bring them in a bag or cooler provided it is smaller than 24" (61 cm) long x 15" (38 cm) wide x 18" (46 cm) high. You can check out the complete list of Park Rules for additional information. I like to bring safe snack and treat options for my son as those can sometimes be difficult to find during our theme park days. We have had fantastic experiences, though, with the chefs at Walt Disney World Resort during our table service dining experiences. They have truly gone above and beyond in ensuring that he is safe, satisfied and included in our meals and it has made our trips truly wonderful vacations!

Please let me know if you have additional questions as you prepare for your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!

Hi! I’m Crystal and I’m a wife and mommy to three little Mouseketeers. My husband and I have been enjoying Disney Parks since before we were married, and now we take our children to see Mickey and the gang as often as we can, while  managing my oldest son's food allergies. Planning is key for my family to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun trip to our favorite place and it can be just as exciting as the trip itself. I can’t wait to help you plan your next adventure there, too! Learn More About Crystal
