Are you allowed to take bags and phones on rides at Disney?

    Hey Benjamin-

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. What to do when you have gadgets and gizmos a-plenty as well as whozits and whatzits galore? Most high velocity attractions have a small pocket to place items or space at your feet to place a backpack. Slower, more relaxed attractions always have space. I carry a standard backpack on all attractions except a few.

For example, Space Mountain has a pocket on the far site of your space craft while Big Thunder Mountain Railroad run-a-way mine trains have it in front of you. Attractions like Epcot’s Soarin’ allow you to leave your bag near your glider and there are complimentary lockers (while you enjoy the attraction) to store larger items near Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. My favorite, Haunted Mansion, Doombuggies have plenty of room for you mortal belongings.

Cast members are very happy to help you find a safe and secure place for all your precious items.

Disney Dad Tip: Purchases at merchandise locations maybe picked up at the theme park exists so you do not have to tote them around. Just ask a Cast Member at the check out register for details.

Please let us know how we may be of further assistance.

Benjamin, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
