Hiya, Tracy!
Welcome to planDisney, where it's always a
practically perfect day to plan a Walt Disney World Resort vacation...especially when it involves paying a visit to my favorite mischief-making duo, Chip and Dale!
For me, no magical vacation is complete without at least one hug from these two, so I can hardly believe that I have not yet checked
Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long off of my Walt Disney World bucket list. Like you, for many years I wasn't sure if this experience was exclusively available for Guests of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, but once I learned that anyone can join in on the Sing-A-Long (and s'mores) - regardless of where they hang their mouse ears - it quickly earned a top spot on the list of my magical must-dos.
Because this character experience doesn't accept reservations, you'll want to arrive a bit earlier than the start time listed on the Walt Disney World website and My Disney Experience app. You'll also need to factor in time for transportation. Please keep in mind that if you're hoping to rely on
Walt Disney World's complimentary transportation, you'll need to travel to a theme park before making your way to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. A more direct option from your Disney Resort hotel would be to book the
Minnie Van service through the Lyft app, or if you have a vehicle with you, you're also welcome to drive to Fort Wilderness where you'll find that parking for campfire Guests is complimentary.
Once you've had your fill of campfire songs and s'mores, I encourage you to enjoy Fort Wilderness's spectacular view of the
Electrical Water Pageant before you depart. In my opinion, taking in the glow of twinkling lights on Bay Lake is pixie dust on an already magical day.
I hope this was helpful, Tracy, and that your upcoming vacation is filled with lifelong memories! If you have any additional questions, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
