How do I allow my sister to manage my family's plans? She's on my f and f list but she can only see me (not my husband/children) on hers. My husband's profile says "no other guests managing his plans." how can I change it so she can?

    Hi, there!

Caroline, I'm so excited to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this June. My family is vacationing in June too, and we are very eagerly counting down the days!

The Family & Friends feature on My Disney Experience is so great because it allows multiple parties to create and share plans. I have experienced some difficulty getting everyone linked together, though, so I completely understand your frustration! For your sister to manage your husband's and your children's plans, she'll need to add them all to her Family & Friends list. When she opens her Family & Friends list from her My Disney Experience account, she'll need to select "Add a Guest." She'll have a few options. If your immediate family has a Disney Resort hotel reservation, I recommend she select the "Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation" option. She'll need your confirmation number to do that! Once your sister has completed those steps for each member of your party, everyone should be included in her Family & Friends list. From there, she can click on each person's icon and update their information to include her as someone who can plan for them. I once had to do all the planning for my extended family's Disney vacation, which included four separate families. Getting everyone linked to my Family & Friends list was a challenge, to say the least, so I finally threw in the towel and called the Help Center. A friendly Cast Member had everyone in our large party connected in no time! If you and your sister continue to experience any difficulty with your shared Family & Friends list, I encourage you to call a Cast Member. They'll be happy to assist you!

Be sure to make your dining reservations when you're 60-days out from your arrival date. You can begin making your dining reservations online as early as 6:00 AM on that day! If you have a hard time finding availability for your party size, try splitting your party into two smaller groups and making two separate reservations. When you arrive at the restaurant, you'll just let the Cast Member at the check-in stand know that you're actually one large party together!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Caroline. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
