    Do you allow pets?

    Hello!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. Captain Mickey and Pluto can’t wait to welcome you aboard. Unfortunately, you’ll have to leave your favorite pet on land. I know this probably isn’t the news you were hoping for, but I have a few pet-friendly suggestions for when you’re missing your furry companion.

When we sail out of Port Canaveral, we board our dog at Best Friends Pet Hotel, located right on Disney property. I always make sure to pack a few extra treats in her luggage. While we miss her, I know she is having tons of fun without us. Some rooms even have webcams so that you can check in with your pet.

On my last cruise, I saw adorable dog and cat toys, collars, and clothes in the gift shop. I’m sure your pet would appreciate a souvenir from your cruise. While I can’t promise you’ll find the same selection, it doesn’t hurt to look.

I promise you’ll have so much fun on your Disney Cruise that the time will fly by, and you’ll be reunited with your loved one soon. If you have a service dog, they are permitted onboard. You can contact Special Services to learn more about the amenities available for service animals. If you have any additional questions, please sail our way again. We love helping Guests (even those with four legs) plan magical vacations.

Meet the Panelist: Tracie, Florida

Ahoy! Just like Moana, I feel the irresistible call of the sea. I think the best vacation is aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship – thankfully, my family agrees. Whether savoring gelato in Italy, snorkeling in Mexico, or basking in the sea breeze on deck, each destination fills us with memories to last a lifetime. I look forward to helping your family plan a Disney Cruise Line adventure brimming with cherished moments!
