Hi Jessica!
Welcome to planDisney! I love hearing that you have plans to head to Disneyland Resort next month. The reopening of Disneyland is something that makes us all chEAR with excitement, or is that just me? I know that as California residents, it's an added treat to be among the first Guests welcomed back to the Happiest Place on Earth.
With
Theme Park Reservations and Valid Admission to either
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park, you can spend all day in your designated theme park. But most of us don’t have that kind of stamina, so I can see why you’d like to be able to leave for a little while for some R&R at your Disneyland Resort hotel or to explore the
Downtown Disney District. Yes, you absolutely can return later on and re-enter your ticketed park so long as the theme park you selected for the day does not reach capacity.
Given that you are asking about May 30th, that falls on a holiday weekend AND the
Availability Calendar shows both theme parks have distributed all the Theme Park Reservations for the day. So my guess is that park capacity may come into play on your vacation dates.
The factor that cannot be predicted is how many Guests who have Park Hopper tickets might decide to hop over to their second park starting at 1:00 P.M. One safe bet would be to time your return prior to when this park hopping window opens. That should minimize any chance that your theme park would reach capacity before your re-entry. You will need to check the
Park Hours calendar and the
Disneyland app for the most up-to-date Park Hopper hours because they very well could start earlier than 1:00 P.M., depending on the day and park.
Phew! That’s a lot of information to process. I hope this strategy serves you well and that you are able to plan the perfect theme park days for your Disneyland vacation! Jessica, if you think of anything else, stop back by planDisney anytime!
