I see to allow 2 hours to arrive at character dining reservations. While I get that for places inside theme parks, does it really take an hour + to get to places at resorts? What's practical since we aren't staying on, to avoid waiting around? thx

    Hi Monique!

If you are using Walt Disney World transportation, it could possibly take up to two hours to get to a resort restaurant.  It all depends on where you are in relation to where you need to be and if there is a direct route or not to take.  I always allow myself at least an hour and a half for travel time (even if I'm driving myself) because I'm always paranoid about being late.  The wonderful thing about arriving early is you can take the extra time to wander around the resort.  All of the Walt Disney World resorts are beautifully themed and can soak up lots of time just checking everything out.

    Have a magical day!
