Hi, Shirley!
It sounds like you are planning a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort real soon! We are so glad you brought this question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel because we want you to be as informed as possible when you go to see your favorite Disney Pals!
Disney does not prohibit food and drinks in the parks as long as the items do not need to be heated and drinks are non-alcoholic. Backpacks or coolers containing your items must not be any larger than 24" x 15" x 18" and no glass containers are allowed except for small items like baby food jars. All your bags will be checked and/or screened when you enter the parks by a Security Cast Member.
I always try to bring a few snacks and water bottles with us when we hit the parks, but we always budget for a few of our favorite Disney snacks too! When we are at Magic Kingdom, my daughter loves a churro from Frontierland while my son enjoys some decadent chocolate fudge from the
Main Street Confectionery and I can't resist a chance to indulge with a Dole Whip from
Aloha Isle!
Shirley, please keep us posted as you think of other questions about your upcoming vacation to the place where the Magic is Endless! We are always happy to help!
Nancy
