    Allison, I saw you mention "Hyperspace Hoopla!" In a previous response. It sounds like fun and I would love to learn more. Can you tell me about this?

    Hi Lisa!

    Hyperspace Hoopal! is out of this world fun!  It is the Grand Finale each evening during the Star Wars Weekends events. It combines music, comedy and dancing with everyone's favorite Star Wars characters.

    Hyperspace Hoolpa! started out as a small dance competition between the Star Wars characters on the stage where Jedi Training Academy is held.  It quickly became a crowd favorite and to say that its now uber popular is an understatement.  Snig and Oopla are the hosts for the nightly extravaganza and are very entertaining.  You see your favorite Star Wars characters like you've never seen them before dancing to the year's most popular songs.  This year I can just imagine Chewbacca breaking out with Gangnam Style or Darth Vader starting the Harlem Shake.  You can find videos of previous Hyperspace Hoolpa! events on YouTube.  The ones uploaded by Attractions Magazine are usually filmed from great vantage points.

    If you are going to Star Wars Weekends, I'm put Hyperspace Hoopla! at the top of my must do list.  Last year it was held on the stage in front of the Sorcerer's Hat but they haven't announced the final plans for the 2013 events at this time.  Wherever they hold Hyperspace Hoolpa! this year, I'd plan on getting there super early to get a good spot.  Grab something to eat and take something to keep you entertained.  The pay off will be well worth the wait.
