Hi Allison thx for ans my q. Another one, we will be eating at Ohana at 6:40 on 9/6. Do you think that will give us enough time to see the MSEP at 9 PM at MK. I want to make sure the 3 DD have a decent spot to see the parade.

    Welcome back Dana!

Great minds think alike! The food at 'Ohana is fabulous, served family style & all you can eat. The food is brought to your table pretty quick after you're seated. Save room for dessert - the 'Ohana Bread Pudding is out of this world! Even with the big eaters in my family, we were full & happy about a 1 1/2 hours after we were seated (including learning a hula). It did take us ~ 15 min after our reservation time to be seated.

A few things to think about - you'll be there on Labor Day Monday & MK will likely be crowded. MSEP typically begins on Main Street. A lot of guests w/ small children try to position themselves near the beginning of the route for a quick exit following the parade. People generally begin claiming their spots ~ 30 - 45 min prior to time (maybe even earlier).  Only 1 parade is currently scheduled for that evening so everyone will want to see it.

While I don't think you'll have a problem making it over to MK in time for the parade, I don't know if you'll be there in time to stake out a good spot along Main Street. Here's what I'd do - try to get a little earlier reservation. If you can't, you can always try showing up a little earlier to see if you can be seated earlier.

If neither one of those options work, start working your way down the left side of Main Street as soon as you get to MK. If you don't luck out & see a spot, as soon as you get to Casey's Corner, cut to the left in front of CP & head towards Adventureland. Just before you get to the bridge, there is a path to your right that will take you into Liberty Square (this isn't the bridge beside the castle). When you get to LS, make a left & head towards Splash Mtn (parade route ends near here). Anywhere you see a spot on either side of the parade route, grab it. You could also try standing on the porch in front of the Diamond Horseshoe.
