Allison, Thanks for the MSEP answer.Next ? is what is a good location to request @ Beach Club? We are staying club level, are all rooms in the same place. I read something about 5th floor, are all rooms close to elevators, lounge? Also EPCOT walkway?pool?

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome back! I have actually never stayed at Disney's Beach Club Resort. I'm making my rounds though & its high on my list. I really wanted to get some good answers for you so I contacted the Guest Service Manager at the Yacht & Beach Club Resorts. I also spoke with one of my co-panelists who has stayed at BC. Both were super helpful!

The Guest Service Manager at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts said that if you want a water view room, it has to be booked as a water view club concierge room. If not, you'll get a standard view on the concierge floor. Standard view is anything from a garden view to a parking lot view.

If you'd like to be close to the lounge & elevator, he suggests that you call Central Reservations & add your request. He said that they can never guarantee a room but you have a MUCH better chance by making the request.

The 5th floor is their private concierge floor but there are concierge rooms on all of their floors. They have concierge deluxe rooms, 1 bedroom suites & 2 bedroom suites on the 1st thru 4th floors and all have access to the 5th floor via your room key.

If you get a room on the far end closest to Epcot, its only about a 2 minute walk to the International Gate - very convenient.

Stormalong Bay is one of the best pools at WDW. It has a "wrecked" pirate ship and a sand bottom - way cool! They have all kinds of activities by the pool. The area closet to Epcot has a quiet pool near it but the main pool is easily accessible from the public walkway (on the outside of the resort nearest the lake) or back through the interior halls.

I hope this helps! Please feel free to come back. If I don't personally know an answer, I'll be happy to do the research for you!  Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
