Allison, In the past my girls have really loved getting confetti sprinkled in their hair at Harmony Barber Shop. However, I have heard they don't do this anymore. Can you tell me whether they still do it or not?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Dwight ~

My boys had their first haircuts at the Harmony Barber Shop and I will always cherish those memories. I wanted to give you the most up to date information that I could so I consulted some of my fellow panelists that were in the Magic Kingdom just last week. All reports said that Guests can still get pixie dust sprinkled in their hair.

I also contacted 407-WDW-PLAY to see if I could get a price for you. They directly called the Harmony Barber Shop for me. Here is what I found out for you.

The Harmony Barber Shop no longer uses colored gels. They only use clear gels to do spikey hair or up dos (pony tails or pig tails but no buns). Appointments for these services are recommended and the cost is $5.00 (always subject to change without notice).

They will sprinkle Guests' hair with pirate confetti or pixie dust. There is no charge for this and no appointment necessary.

The lines for the complimentary pirate confetti or pixie dust tend to be a little longer just after Magic Kingdom opening. Keep that in mind as you plan your adventures for the day.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
