    Hi Allison, Love your name. (it's my DD's also). We will be at MNSSHP Oct 7. Do you have any tips or advice for us first-timers? We don't want to miss a thing. Thanks a lot. Fabulous panel! Marilea

    Hi Marilea,

    You're a special mom to name your DD Allison - she is destined for a magical life! MNSSHP is a blast! Everyone (including adults) is encouraged to dress up for the occasion. You will be boarding rides so you don't want a costume to be bulky & cumbersome. Also make sure you wear comfortable footwear.

    MK will be decked out in Halloween decorations. You can enter beginning at 4 p.m. but the festivities do not begin until 7 p.m. When you enter, be sure to pick up a Guide Map for MNSSHP. You'll each be given a Trick-or-Treat bag (although I have seen Guests bring their own). There will be several locations throughout the park where you can T-o-T --- locations will be marked on your MNSSHP Guide Map.

    There will be several character Meet & Greet locations which will also be marked on your Guide Map. The characters dress up for Halloween too! PhotoPass Photographers will be located at the M&Gs as well as thoughout the park.

    Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade is awesome & is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. & 10:30 p.m. Skip the 1st parade & hit the attractions which will be less crowded. Its easier to get a good spot for the 2nd parade. The Happy HalloWishes fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Not every attraction is open during MNSSHP - but the most popular ones will be - check the Guide Map for a list.

    Although I haven't seen a complete list of events for the 2010 MNSSHP, last year there were a couple of character dance party locations. They also held a Disney Villains Mix & Mingle in front of Cinderella Castle. Alice & Mad Hatter's Treat Party was along the back path b/t Toontown & Tomorrowland. These will be listed on the Guide Maps.

    Be sure to have your picture taken w/ the Haunted Mansion in the background. Its the perfect setting for Halloween photos. Wishing you magical Halloween memories :-) Allison
