Hi Allison. Heading to Disney the end of Jan. 12. w/ 13 & 9 daughters We have been there several times and LOVE it! Just found out about Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert party/ fireworks views. What types of desserts? Is it really worth it? Other tips?

Welcome to the Moms Panel Carolyn!  We're so glad you're hEAR and that you LOVE Disney!

Your trip is super close now. Are you too excited to sleep yet?

The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party is awesome! My family & I loved it. You can kick back with one of the best views of the fireworks inside the Magic Kingdom & enjoy some incredible desserts.

The party begins an hour prior to the fireworks on the Tomorrowland Terrace. You get a comfortable seat to watch the fireworks. You aren't among the sea of people in the MK so you don't have to fight for a good spot an hour before the fireworks. None of the tables were right up next to the wall but once the fireworks began we were free to stand near the outer wall if we wanted. I also loved (especially with kids) that there is a restroom nearby.

The desserts are de-lish! Here are some (I'm sure its not all) that I remember: cheesecakes, fresh fruit, brownies, Rice Crispy treats, Pistachio crème brulee, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate mousse, Key lime tarts, cannoli, cupcakes, chocolate truffles, tiramisu, mango sippers & chocolate covered strawberries. It is all you can eat so plan to eat an early dinner & come hungry. There was also a nice assortment of beverages (juices, tea, coffee, milk). Please keep in mind that the menu can vary but you won't be disappointed.

They break down the buffet when the fireworks begin so be sure to get all you want before settling in for an incredible view of Wishes. Tinker Bell flies right towards you & goes over your head for her landing.

I totally think that this experience is worth it so go for it!

I'm out of room for this answer but we're happy to give you any other tips & planning advice so please feel free to visit as often as you'd like. It is our pleasure to assist you!

Wishing you & your daughters minnie magical memories :-) Allison
