Hi Jaynee,
I am so happy to hear from you again! I have some exciting news for you but first, let's address your question at hand.
The
Rose & Crown Dining Room in the United Kingdom Pavilion at Epcot is a great place to eat, drink & watch IllumiNations. When you make your reservations, have them make a note that you'd like a table for a good view of IllumiNations. Remember this is a request & subject to availability but have them make a note of it. I'd suggest arriving a few minutes prior to your reservation & make sure they have it noted. A table on the patio for outdoor dining cannot be guaranteed or requested in advanced. If you decide you'd like a seat on the patio, plan on arriving pretty early.
IllumiNations is typically presented most evenings at 9:00 p.m. The online calendar for September 2011 is not up yet but click
here to keep an eye on it.
Now for my surprise - remember you asked me back in January if BabyCakes at Downtown Disney participated in the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) & at that time, they didn't? Well guess what?! The General Manager there (Emily) is AMAZING & she emailed me this morning to tell me they that they just announced today that they are now participating in the DDP!
She told me that all single-serve bakery items are now considered one snack allotment. Also, if Guests use their quick service credit at Pollo Campero or Fresh A-Peel (both of which are also located at Downtown Disney), they have the option to choose BabyCakes as their dessert! So yay! Time to do the happy dance!
Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
