Hi Jaynee,
I say - go to
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - its incredible & I can't wait to go in Oct! WDW really goes above & beyond to meet as many dietary requests as possible. If you decide to attend MNSSHP (yes - you should), send an email to
wdw.special.diets@disney.com. They have a form they can email you to fill out & return to them regarding your son's allergies. You'll also need to be sure & let them know which night you will be attending MNSSHP. Once they receive the form, they will notify the event Coordinator & City Hall in the Magic Kingdom. When you arrive for the party, you can go to City Hall & pick up some "safe" candy for your son. All part of the Disney magic!
MNSSHP takes place throughout the Magic Kingdom & requires a separate special event ticket to attend. On the evenings that it is held, the park closes early & only those Guests with the special event tickets are allowed to enter or remain in the park when the party begins at 7 p.m. Once party goers enter the park, they are given a special wrist band which indicates that have purchased tickets to this event. Cast Members will be stationed at the entrances to the different themed lands. Guests who aren't wearing wrist bands for this event will be asked to make their way down Main Street to exit the park.
This is one of my favorite events at the Magic Kingdom. There are so many fun things to do. I love looking at all the cool costumes that people wear for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade is way cool & the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks is a great way to top off the evening.
Wishing you many magical memories :) Allison
