Allision, Thank you for your response to my earlier question I submitted. Your info was very helpful. I saw your video and you mentioned about your boys having there 1st haircut at MK barber shop due you need an appt or can we walk in. Thanks Amanda

    Hey Amanda,

They don't take appointments at the Harmony Barbershop - its a first come first serve basis.  I'd recommend you getting there early before their lines get very long.  That way you can get in and out and have a great day at the MK.

I have to say that they did an awesome job with my boys' first haircuts.  They used stickers and toys to distract them so they didn't even pay attention to the fact they were getting a hair cut.  We took lots of pictures.  They saved their hair for me and sealed it with a Mickey sticker.  After they finished the actual haircut, they brought out a super cute Mickey cape to drape over them and huge red plastic scissors and a comb and possed for pictures.  They also got a first haircut certificate and a pair of Mouse ears with "First Haircut" monogrammed on the  (I'm not sure if they still give these out or not - my youngest's cut was 5 years ago).  It was very reasonably priced and a memory I'll treasure forever!

If your kids don't really need haircuts, you could stop in for some festive colored hair gel and mouse ear confetti.  There is a small fee for this as well.  Keep in mind that park admission is required.

I am so happy to help you!!!   Please let me know if you have any further questions.  I love spreading pixie dust on trips for other people!
