Are all of the Alligator Bayou 5th sleeper rooms at Port Orleans Riverside already refurbished? Thanks!

How ya doin', Melissa, and welcome to planDisney!

A stay at the scenic paradise over at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside feels like a touch of home to me. The refurbished rooms look pretty as a magnolia in May, and I completely understand wanting the updated experience.

Currently, it looks like refurbishments at this property will be ongoing into next year, and there's no confirmation on whether or not every room in the Alligator Bayou section is completed just yet. Depending on when you're traveling, some rooms may still be in transition.

If that refurbished room is important to your experience, I would suggest calling Disney Resort Hotel Reservations before arrival to get the most up-to-date information before your arrival. It also couldn't hurt to make a polite request for an updated room for your reservation. While there's no guarantee, I know from personal experience that Disney's Cast Members will do their best to accommodate Guests when it's possible.

Melissa, my fingers are crossed in hopes that you'll get what you dream of for your vacation. If you have any other questions, come back to see me. I'm happy to help.

    Happy planning!
