Hello All! I am planning a visit to Disney World this July, of 2015, with my husband and three children. My question is in regards to my daughter, who is only 32" tall. Are there rides that she can ride?

    Katherine:

Thinking ahead of your vacation about whether or not your daughter will meet height requirements will go a long way toward setting expectations for her. Kudos to you. Navigating just a few steps on the www.disneyworld.com website will show you a list of attractions that your daughter will be able to ride.

    • STEP ONE: Log in to www.disneyworld.com
    • STEP TWO: Under the "Parks & Tickets" tab, choose a theme park
    • STEP THREE: Click on "Attractions"

From there, you'll be able to scroll down the list of park attractions and will quickly see any height requirements for each listed under each title.

Let me recommend that you avoid listening to those who will give the tip of purchasing thicker-soled shoes or wearing a hat to meet a height requirement. Disney has these rules in place for your daughter's safety. Pre-planning to avoid the let-down that comes by being turned away is best and will make for a much more pleasant day at the parks.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
