Welcome to planDisney BreAnne!
We’re so happy to hear from you, and hope that you’re getting excited for your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth later this month! Be sure to take some time to enjoy
Flower and Garden Festival at EPCOT while you’re visiting! My family and I went last week and it was breathtakingly beautiful. You’ll want to go through the Butterfly Pavilion, as there are butterflies coming out of their cocoons daily! It is really neat to see!
BreAnne, I was able to get in touch with a lovely Cast Member, Zyra, to confirm for me the coconut oil situation on the popcorn at the theme parks. Currently, in an effort to keep the popcorn at Disney World dairy-free, all of the popcorn on property is popped in a blend of canola oil and coconut oil. I am SO sorry to be the bearer of this news, and I wish there was a popcorn stand that I could send you to safely — but I cannot. My recommendation would be to bring your own popcorn snacks to the park with you! You could purchase an empty, reusable popcorn bucket from a stand and fill it yourself with the popcorn you have brought with you. (My family likes doing this as our tummies do better with popcorn from home.)
If you find yourself really craving a super salty, crunchy snack, I cannot recommend the Dill Pickles enough! They’re giant, cold, crunchy, and have a great vinegary zing! My favorite place to find them is at Magic Kingdom in
Liberty Square Market. I also recommend asking for an allergy menu at all of the dining places you visit to be sure that the ingredients in the foods you’re eating do not contain allergens for you.
If you have additional questions, we would love to hear from you again at planDisney, BreAnne!
Have a great, big, beautiful tomorrow,
Allyn
