Character Dining at Riveria

    Is there a way to get alerts for certain dining reservations when they become available? I have been trying to get a character dining of some kind, but have not been successful.

    Hey there, Lindsay. Welcome to planDisney!

    Lindsay, I'm sorry to know that you are having a hard time securing dining reservations for particular spots that you'd like to enjoy during your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. Character dining is super popular and those tend to go so quick. There isn't a reservation alert system through Walt Disney World, Lindsay, although I do like that idea. My best advice is truly to keep checking back. I've noticed that I've been able to secure dining reservations at restaurants that I have wanted the closer it gets to my vacation. In order to not be charged a no-show fee, Lindsay, Guests have to cancel their dining reservations at least 24 hours in advance. So typically a few days before your trip, you'll notice things opening back up. I've even had luck the day of at particular places so do keep trying! 

    Chef Mickey's, Garden Grill Restaurant, Hollywood & Vine, Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White, Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera and Tusker House Restaurant are all restaurants that are offering character dining at this time. If you aren't trying to snag a particular reservation, this list might help! You can keep an eye out for any of these offerings when making dining reservations. I'm partial to Tusker House Restaurant and Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera but they are all great!
