Now that alcoholic drinks are included in the Dining plan are there any places that let you use a snack credit for an alcoholic drink for those 21+?

    Hi, there!

Jennifer, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just days away. How very exciting! I'm happy to answer your question today.

Aren't the changes to the 2018 Disney Dining Plan great? While Guests 21 and older may now use the Disney Dining Plan to order single-serving alcoholic beverages, those alcoholic beverages may only be redeemed with Quick-Service or Table-Service meal entitlements. Not to fret! There are plenty of delicious beverages throughout Walt Disney World Resort that you can use a Snack entitlement to purchase. Some of my favorites include a Venti Iced Caramel Macchiato at Creature Comforts (the Starbucks location at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park) and a Pineapple Float at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom Park. YUM! Just look for the purple and white DDP (Disney Dining Plan) icon to find eligible Snack items on menus or in select merchandise locations.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer. Wishing you the most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
