How much will alcoholic drinks cost on disney destiny?

    Ahoy there, Tonia!

Welcome back to planDisney! It sounds like you’re already dreaming of smooth seas and ocean breezes aboard the brand-new Disney Destiny—and what better way to toast your upcoming voyage than by planning ahead for your favorite adult beverages? Let’s raise our glass and dive into what you can expect once you set sail!

Since the Destiny hasn’t yet begun her maiden voyages, we don’t have the final drink menus or exact pricing just yet. However, based on the Wish and the Treasure, we can make some well-informed guesses (and I promise, these estimates are more reliable than Jack Sparrow’s compass). Prices can vary depending on the drink, but here’s a good general guide to help plan your budget:

Disney Cruise Line typically offers a “Drink of the Day”, which rotates daily and features a refreshing themed cocktail at a discounted price—usually around $7–$8. My wife loves trying these because they’re often colorful, fun, and perfectly tropical. As for me, I’m more of a beer guy, and one of my favorite options is the Beer Mug Savings Package, available for pre-purchase through Onboard Gifts. With this package, you’ll get a 23 oz. refill for the price of a 16 oz. pour—plus, you get to keep the souvenir mug! Most beers onboard range from $8–$10 depending on the brand.

If cocktails are more your style, you’ll generally find prices between $10–$14, with premium or specialty creations sometimes running closer to $16–$18. Wine lovers can expect similar pricing for a glass—anywhere from under $10 for house selections to $20 or more for higher-end pours. Whether it’s bubbly, beer, or bourbon, there’s something to match every palate and every port day.

For a little extra “pixie-priced” savings, Disney Cruise Line allows each Guest (21 and older) to bring two bottles of unopened wine or champagne (up to 750 ml each) or six beers (no larger than 12 oz. each) onboard at the start of the voyage and again at each port of call. Just be sure these are packed in your carry-on luggage, not your checked bags. This can be a fun way to bring a favorite bottle along for a special toast on your verandah at sunset—it’s a scene right out of The Little Mermaid if you ask me!

I hope this helps you plan for a smooth-sailing, sip-worthy adventure when you board the Destiny. Here’s to your upcoming voyage—may your drinks be chilled, your sunsets golden, and your adventures beyond the sea as magical as can be.

Sea ya real soon with boo-tiful nights and frightfully fun days,
    Dustin
