Ahoy Emili, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you pulled alongside to let us answer your questions about Disney Cruise Line!
I love answering this question for Guests because it lets me clear up one of the biggest misconceptions: not only are there alcoholic beverages available on a Disney Cruise Line vacation, no matter on which ship you'll be sailing, there are
numerous lounges, nightclubs and even entire districts designed just for adults!
That's right, you'll never find yourself asking "why's the rum gone?" like Jack Sparrow. Instead, you can enjoy yourself in incredible, themed lounges inspired by some of the best entertainment districts in the world as well as your favorite Disney stories!
From the deep woods and dark ambiance of classic pubs at
Crown & Fin and
O'Gills, classic piano bars like
Keys and
Cadillac Lounge, to European nightclubs, wine and Champagne bars, swanky pre-dinner or pre-show options,
one that lets you visit some of the world's great cities, outdoor lounges on the pool decks and
even a little slice of New Orleans on the Disney Wonder right outside Tiana's Place - complete with trolley car - there's no shortage of options! At each location, the amazing Disney Cruise Line beverage team will provide you with the incredible service we all love about Disney vacations!
One thing that is different on Disney Cruise Line is that there is not a "unlimited beverage package" like you may be familiar with from...let's say
elsewhere. However, there is a range of adult exclusive packages available through
Disney Onboard Gifts that you can select based on your preferences! Pricing and selection are subject to change, but from beer to wine to sparkling options, I've always found something to make arriving in our stateroom extra special!
Oh, and I almost forgot, over the course of your cruise, various lounges host
beverage tastings, including the famous - at least among most castaways - mixology! These tastings give you the opportunity to explore bourbon, whiskey, tequila, wine, Amari and more and are available to book both ahead of your embarkation through the Onboard Fun section of the Cruise Activities menu of your reservation, as well as onboard! Be sure to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for where these experiences can fit into your itinerary.
Whew, I worked up a thirst just thinking about all the exciting options. Thank you again, Emili, for your question, and I hope that I gave you plenty to look forward to as you continue to plan for an incredible time aboard the Disney Cruise Line fleet. I'll put a cork in it for now, but stop by planDisney any time with more questions!
Cheers!
Andrew
