    Going on the Alaskan cruise->noticed that pirates's night is replaced with Pixar's Pals party. So sad for my boys since they were looking forward to dressing up as pirates. What does this party entail? Are formal and semi-formal nights the same?

    I'm so happy to hear you'll be sailing to Alaska aboard the beautiful Disney Wonder! While I haven't yet sailed on one of Disney Cruise Line's Alaskan voyages, it is definitely at the top of my family's cruise bucket list! My Moms Panel friend Nancy has sailed with Captain Mickey to Alaska several times, and she raves about the beauty of the glaciers and all the awesome Port Adventures. It's going to be amazing!

    The Pixar Pals Party is held in place of Pirate Night on Alaskan voyages. This exciting party, held in the atrium of the ship, features favorite friends from Disney-Pixar films such as Toy Story, Monsters Inc. and Up. With awesome music, fun sing-alongs and a Character Meet and Greet with Pixar friends, this party is a favorite among guests. The evening continues with a Toy Story-themed menu at dinner.

    You'll definitely enjoy Formal and Semi-Formal nights during your sailing, so make sure to pack some nice clothes for those evenings. You'll see guests in everything from casual suits to tuxedos and ball gowns, so no matter what you choose, you won't be over-or-under dressed!
