Ahoy there, Nik!
Thanks for your question! I'd be happy to share some more details about your cruise to make the countdown go by a little faster.
While entertainment and themed nights are subject to change, the current plan for the September 2, 2024, sailing on the Disney Wonder is:
The remaining nights are all cruise casual, which basically means no swimming suits or tank tops in the dining rooms. Otherwise, just come as you'd like!
You can read more about the dining dress codes here, and it's good to know that formal and semi-formal nights are optional. You're welcome to dress up as much as you'd like—my daughter wore a different princess dress every night of our last cruise, it was always formal night in her opinion—but the only time a stricter dress code is enforced is while enjoying the adults-only restaurant, Palo.
Speaking of
Palo, I highly recommend making a reservation for brunch! It's an incredible experience and one of my favorite things to do onboard. If you can't get a reservation prior to your cruise it's worth visiting the dining team and asking on embarkation day if there is any availability. Dinner is fabulous, too, and with longer sailings like the Alaskan itineraries you can still visit all of the main dining rooms as well.
Now that you know what the themed nights are you can start planning what to pack! I like to start by using the
packing list from Disney Cruise Line since each version is specifically tailored to an itinerary. Alaska is definitely a destination that requires some layers!
You are in for such an adventure, Nik! Please visit planDisney again if you have more questions about your cruise before the big day.
Keep moving forward!
