Welcome aboard, Peggy -
How exciting to hear that you'll be enjoying beautiful Alaska in just a few days. You will absolutely love this voyage and I'm sure that you and your family will soak in all the splendor and enjoy this adventure. The
Cruise Casual attire does allow jeans and a nice shirt for dinner. So, you can plan your outfits accordingly for you and your buccaneers. Nice shorts can fly for the kids too, just in case they feel more comfortable this way. If you do end up dining at Palo, then they have a dressier dress code that is enforced at dinner or brunch.
I encourage you and your family to dress comfortably and nicely -- you never know when the cameras are around, and I'm sure you want the whole family to look their best. In addition to that, the professional photographers normally setup their signature backdrops before and after dinner at the lobby... It's a great to time to take some new family photos that are worthy of framing, as well as a souvenir of your Alaskan voyage. Here are some other
packing tips for an Alaskan voyage, from my fellow cruise mom, Nancy.
I hope that this information is helpful. Do let us know if you need additional last minute information to prepare for your trip. Wishing you a magical voyage next week, Peggy!
Bon voyage,
~ Dolly
