I would like to take an Alaskan cruise in 2025. When will those itineraries be out? I am able to make monthly payments on a booking?

Ahoy there, Jessica! Thanks for sailing our way here at planDisney with your question about cruising to "America's Last Frontier!"

Alaska is one of the many breathtaking locations to which Disney Cruise Line sails, and it's made all the better by my favorite ship, the Disney Wonder! I've spent more cruise nights on the Wonder, and each time I return, its navigable size, understated luxury, and laid-back, New Orleans theming on Deck 3 with both the French Quarter Lounge and Tiana's Place makes it feel like a party around the clock!

I see you're looking well into the future with your course set for adventure in 2025! That's a planDrew-approved approach for sure! You're so ahead of the game, in fact, that you're almost 2 years ahead of Disney Cruise Line! That's right, currently, itineraries are available to book through late Summer 2023!

While that means it will be a while until the itineraries you seek are made available, based on our "tidal maps" (also known as when Disney Cruise Line has previously released itineraries for the Alaska Season) you're probably looking at around early 2024 for the earliest Alaska itinerary of the 2025 season!

While that may seem like forever and a day to wait, I've got good news: you can get an idea of all the activities available on Alaska sailings by visiting the Alaska Destination Overview section of the Disney Cruise Line website! From there, you'll be able to explore potential Ports of Call, Onboard Fun, Port Adventures, and more that await you! I'm getting excited just thinking about it all!

Your question about payment plans is one we get frequently, and I'm happy to report that while there aren't official payment plans, you can reserve your cruise with a deposit as early as possible, and take all the time you need to make payments as you please - as long as you pay the balance before your "final payment due date!" Once itineraries are released and you make your reservation, you'll be able to find this date on the "My Reservations" page! The earlier you book your sailing, not only will you get what is usually the best price available, but you'll have the longest time until your final payment due date. By planning so far ahead, you're setting yourself up for smooth sailing and can stretch out your payments as long as possible!

I hope that helps you chart the best course as 2025 creeps closer to the horizon, Jessica! Thank you so much for your questions, and as you hear the call of the wilderness in the distance, know we'll be right here at planDisney to answer any other messages you drop in a bottle our way!

Until then, may your anchor be tight and your compass true!
