Going on an Alaskan cruise in August. Any tips for what to do with our bags if we want to explore the city on debarkation day and have a red eye that evening? Thanks! We can’t wait!!

Welcome back to planDisney Jessica!  A Disney Cruise Line itinerary to Alaska is a trip of a lifetime.  I cruised to Alaska last year and had a wonderful time enjoying the breathtaking views.  I saw humpback whales bubble-net feeding, sea lions lounging on the shore, and glistening icebergs.

You can store luggage at the Canada Place Luggage Storage which is located at the Port of Vancouver.  It is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. so you must pick up your luggage on time.  Vancouver has a lot to offer in terms of sightseeing.  We rode the elevator to the top of the Harbour Centre in downtown Vancouver to view the city from the observation deck.  There is also Stanley Park, with its walking and jogging trails, and the Capilano Suspension Bridge, which takes you along the primordial forest of British Columbia.

While on the Disney Wonder, Tiana's Place will be one of your rotational dining restaurants which is one of my favorite restaurants in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. The Louisiana-inspired meal, along with entertainment from Tiana and her friends, will make you feel like you are in a New Orleans supper club.  Also, consider having a warm beignet in the French Quarter Lounge after being on the deck when it is chilly out; it is a nice treat.

Jessica, I know you will have a wonderful cruise, but if you have any other questions before August, sail back to planDisney for help.

    Have a wonderful cruise,
    JoVonn
