Hi Ashley -
Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel and logging in your question. The
Alaskan voyage onboard the Disney Wonder is absolutely captivating. Sometimes, there's just not enough words to describe such a beautiful and picturesque voyage. You and your family members will have an awesome time sailing with Captain Mickey.
The signature celebration offered on the Disney Wonder to Alaska is the
Pixar Pals Party. It's a fun filled event with the most popular Disney-Pixar characters partying with all the guests in the atrium. Unfortunately, the Pirate deck party is not offered on the Alaska itinerary. There are also no fireworks display while the ship is in Alaska. Make sure you have your camera handy throughout the cruise, there are always photo opportunities that come up. From characters roaming the decks, to beautiful backdrops that are around the bend, as the ship navigates through the passages in the last frontier land.
Frozen fun all throughout summer has been a hit! Queen Elsa and Princess Anna were indeed spotted in Alaska this season. It was announced that they'll likely continue to make their visits aboard ships sailing for 7 or more days. Schedules do change, so make sure you check the Personal Navigator every day for any announcements for meet and greet sessions. This will be delivered in your stateroom every night by your stateroom host/hostess. You can also download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App if you have a smart phone. Access to this app will be free on the DCL WiFi network while you are onboard.
I hope this helps. Happy planning, Ashley!
