Ahoy, Janet!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Oh my goodness, you're about to set sail to "The Last Frontier" in just one week! I can't believe that it has already been a year since my family sailed the high seas with Captain Mickey to Alaska for the second time. Have you taken a look at the
Packing List for Disney Cruises? Even though I'm sure you have everything set and ready to go, this is a great list to review just to make sure you're not forgetting anything!
Words can't begin to express how majestic and breathtaking it is as the ship makes its way down the Tracy Arm fjord to the massive Sawyer Glaciers. I'm so elated you'll be experiencing this for yourself! Unfortunately, because
Glacier Explorer is such a popular Port Adventure with limited availability, there is a chance that it was sold out by the time your advance booking window opened. I recommend continuing to check back on the Disney Cruise Line website over the next few days. Guests' plans change all the time, requiring them to cancel activities or excursions, allowing spots to become available! If your sail date arrives and this Port Adventure still was unavailable to book, stop by the
Port Adventures Desk as soon as you step onboard the ship and ask the Port Adventures team about this particular excursion. They will be able to give you more information as well as possibly add your name to a waiting list!
Janet, I'm sorry you don't have this exciting Port Adventure reserved yet. Even if you aren't able to book it, you'll still have phenomenal views in Tracy Arm because the ship gets quite close to the glaciers and wildlife!
