Ahoy again, Kevin!
You have heard the call of the wild! So thrilled that you will be cruising to
Alaska with Captain Minnie on the Disney Wonder. Between the amazing ports of call and an assortment of
Port Adventures, it made for one of our best vacations ever! We adored our Alaska sailing and still rave about it to family, friends, and anyone that will listen.
Since you need two staterooms and your daughter and your future son-in-law are a different
Castaway Club level, one workaround that you could do would be to put one of the Silver Castaway Club Guests in one stateroom and the second one in the other stateroom. The advance booking window is determined by the Guest with the highest Castaway Club level in each stateroom, so that would make the two reservations equal and enable booking those premium reservations for Palo and Port Adventures at the same time. (Granted, it would make the Key to the World cards not correspond to the correct stateroom for two of the Guests, but if you are staying in connecting staterooms, that wouldn’t be an issue).
But since you have already made both stateroom reservations, you might prefer leaving them intact. You could go ahead and make your premium reservations for you and your partner when your advance booking window opens (90 days in advance of your sail date). Then be sure to calendar 75 days prior to the sail date because that’s when your daughter and her fiancé can make their premium reservations. If your
stateroom reservations are linked together, then your daughter will be able to see your plans and try to duplicate them. And if you do run into any issues,
contact a Disney Cruise Line specialist, and they might be able to modify the reservations so they match. The rule of thumb is to do this sooner rather than later. The closer it gets to your cruise, the harder it might be to tweak anything.
Hope that this makes sense to you! Seeing that you have been our guest here at planDisney many times, I think you are a Disney Cruise Line fan of the highest order and will understand! Wishing you the most WONDERful adventures in Alaska-it’s a DREAM vacation for sure.
Happy Sailing!
