Ahoy Raquel,
Thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your Disney Cruise Line question! My family was lucky enough to cruise on the
Disney Wonder to Alaska a few years ago. The
Disney Cruise Line Alaska itineraries are amazing. While we had been on many Disney cruises to warm locales, this was our first experience cruising in Alaska. The views of nature and the care that Disney takes of you combined for a truly magical experience.
Looking for a GT rate means that you are looking for a guaranteed rate. If you are looking for VGT, you are looking or a guaranteed rate for a stateroom with a verandah. These rates typically come out close to a sail date, and they are not necessarily offered for all sailings. These rates allow you to book a certain type of room, but not the specific room. A guaranteed rate is a great way to save some money on a Disney cruise! My family and I used a guaranteed rate once when we booked a last-minute cruise and got a fantastic rate!
Using the
Special Offers for Disney Cruise Line page, I can see that right now there is one sailing to Alaska in May with a guaranteed rate offer. This is the cruise departing on May 22. I do suggest that you check back on that page frequently to see if any others are offered for your desired cruises. Also be sure to read the restrictions associated when you purchase a guaranteed rate stateroom. You can also check this by searching for the cruises you are interested in using the
Disney Cruise Line page. If there are any guaranteed rates in the category that you are looking for, they will show up when you try to select a room for your sailing.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Raquel. Please feel free to sail back to planDisney if you have any further questions regarding your Disney cruise!
