Going on the Alaska cruise in 2012. What time flight home from Seatlle would you pick?

    Hi, Patricia!

You are going to be awed and amazed on your cruise to Alaska aboard the Disney Wonder! My family and I sailed this itinerary this past summer, and we want to return someday. What an enriching family experience for us all!

Disney Cruise Line strongly suggests that the earliest departure flight on debarkation day be no earlier than 12 p.m. In addition, as a mom, I would suggest arriving in Seattle at least a day or two before you sail in order to see the home port area and to acclimate to the new time zone. (Plus, you'll be traveling through other time zones as you sail, too.)

For more hints and tips in order to know what to expect, check out my 7-day diary of our Alaskan voyage on the Disney Cruise Line YouTube Channel.  And of course, if you have more questions, feel free to visit me here again to find out more.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
