Hi Denise,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your questions.
Jellyrolls is such a fun time for adults, with rollicking pianos. I really enjoy an evening there! It is a great idea to have the children in your party spend the evening at a Children's Activity Center while the adults have a night out. My daughter loves a night in the
Children's Activity Centers, and she always asks for a night at one while we are at Walt Disney World. The children even get dinner and a snack if they are there at meal and snack time!
There are many locations for Children's Activity Centers at Walt Disney World, but I think that your best bet will be either Simba's Cubhouse at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, or Sandcastle Club at Disney's Beach Club Resort. Simba's Cubhouse is located in Jambo House, quite near to Uzima Pool. My daughter loves that there are huge windows looking out onto the savanna from this location, so the children may see animals while there. Sandcastle Club is a quick walk or boat ride around Crescent Lake to Disney's BoardWalk, where Jellyrolls is located.
I believe that the last time our daughter stayed at a Children's Activity Center, the cost was $11.50 per hour with a two-hour minimum. There is currently a discount of 15% offered to Disney Vacation Club members. I am not aware of a discount available to Disney Visa holders. I suggest that you take both cards with you and ask, as discounts and pricing are subject to change.
To make reservations at a Children's Activity Center, call 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463). I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you Denise! Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
