My family loves staying at Animal Kingdom and Kidani Village. Kidani Village is shaped with two semi-circles stemming from a center where the elevators are. We stayed once all the way down the end of the hall- practically the furthest away you could get. It was a mile walk to get to the bus stop. I would suggest to request staying near the elevators on the third or fourth floor. You will get a full view of the savanna there and can easily take pictures. The animals are usually most active in the morning and evening so we would get up early just to watch them on the balcony. We have seen zebra, giraffes, ostriches, and Ankole Cattle from our room. There is also the Pembe Savanna view at Kidani village. I have never stayed there but Okapi are in that savanna. Whatever room you choose, I know your stay before heading on your cruise will be just magical, Denise!
Visit Walt Disney World Resort to explore the magic.
