    AKL-are there any standard rooms with bunk beds? I called and requested bunk beds and was told I would need to upgrade my room. I am confused. Stayed there last year with hubs, standard room with bunk beds-we did not request them. Any info??

    Hello, Mandy,

    Thank you for your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel about Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is a fantastic resort!  It is easy to call this resort home year after year.  The Standard Rooms do have a variety of combinations: 2 Queen Beds, 1 King Bed and Day Bed, and 1 Queen Bed and 1 Bunk Bed.  I am wondering when you called to inquire about the Standard View rooms with the bunk beds that perhaps they were already booked, so the next available option to have one would be to upgrade. 

    Since guests sometime change reservations, you may find checking back every so often to see if a standard view room with a bunk bed has opened up.  I'll be keeping my fingers crossed!
