    Less than a month until you sleep near zebras, giraffes, and antelopes!

    Earlier this summer my family stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. I love this resort with the soaring multi-story high window facing the savanna, a bridge across the lobby, and the restaurants with an exotic flair. Use of the night vision goggles is free of charge. My favorite activity here is one of the world's oldest- sitting by the fire hearing stories. Other free, simple activities we never tire of are watching the safari animals, swimming in the spectacular Uzima pool, and searching for hidden Mickeys.

    Consider the Wanyama Safari if you want a more immersive experience. This drive through the savanna for an up close view of the animals includes a family style dinner from Jiko. Snap some pictures, learn about animal conservation, and then enjoy a multi course meal. There is a fee for this event.

    Enjoy your stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge which is a serious contender for the most spectacular resort at Walt Disney World.
