I have our AKL resort and Disney park tickets linked to my account for our trip in Feb 2023. I want to purchase Memory Maker but it isn't giving me the option to purchase it for the $169. Is this because I bought our tickets from an 3rd party vendor?

    Hello, Heather!

Welcome to planDisney! I am so glad that you have brought us your question regarding Memory Maker. It won’t be long before you are joining in all the fun of the World’s Most Magical Celebration. So many new wonderful experiences were created just for the 50th Anniversary Celebration including Disney’s Enchantment. A brand new nighttime spectacular, shown almost nightly in the Magic Kingdom. This extravaganza combines fireworks and magical projections on Cinderella Castle and the buildings of Main Street U.S.A. You will feel the magic, imagination, joy, and hope of your favorite Disney Characters set to an amazing new theme song and musical arrangement. You do not want to miss it, because once the celebration is over, this nighttime show will disappear like magic.

You are a vacation planning rock star for wanting to purchase a Memory Maker for your upcoming trip. You will make so many core memories during your adventure and Disney’s PhotoPass Photographers will help you capture them.

Memory Maker is available to all Guests regardless of where they purchase their admission tickets. To take advantage of the advance purchase price for Memory Maker, you will want to complete your transaction online using a laptop or computer. The discounted advance price is not available in the My Disney Experience Mobile app. Once you make your purchase, you will receive a confirmation number to link to your My Disney Experience account.

You can activate your Memory Maker once a Disney PhotoPass Photographer has taken your first photo, or you have captured an onboard ride photo. In the My Disney Experience app, you will tap the 3 horizontal lines and then select My Photos. Tap any photo and you will receive a notification asking you if you wish to activate your Memory Maker, select yes to activate. You will be able to capture as many photos as you like during the 30-day activation of your Memory Maker. Remember, your photos will expire 45 days after they are taken. So don’t forget to download, share, post, and print your magical memories.
