Hi Moms, going to AKL with a bit of a workaholic. Are there any relatively quiet but nice areas where he can work on his laptop without hustle and bustle? Preferably somewhere where he can have a little respite from the family noise? Thanks

    Hello, Lizzie,

Thank you for your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a beautiful resort, and one I could vacation at without ever even visiting the theme parks. If your husband is looking for a quiet spot, there are lots of little balconies throughout the resort that are wonderful places that are often quiet and calm.  While there are chairs on the balconies, there are not tables if he'd need one to work with. At the lobby, I like a little area off to the side called Sunset Overlook for a quiet spot, too. He may also find if he is looking for a spot during the day, Victoria Falls Lounge has tables and chairs and might be another good spot.  I'd also suggest the tables and chairs around The Mara, which while it is the counter service restaurant in the resort, he might be able to find a quiet corner either inside or outside the resort to work.

Wishing you a magical trip!  -Kara
