Hiya, Maire, and welcome to planDisney! From one Georgia girl to another, isn't it exciting to be planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation? Your visit is in just a couple of short months, and this is the perfect time to firm up your dining itinerary.
Maire, I confirmed with a helpful Cast Member that
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is open during weekdays in October. There's a chance that all bookings are full at this time, so if that's the case, I recommend checking back periodically, as Guests do drop plans as they near their vacation. I'd especially check the day before you'd like to dine - in my experience, that's when the most availability pops up.
It sounds like you might be familiar with this feature, but just in case you aren't, I want to be sure that you know how to search for
Advance Dining Reservations over multiple dates. Head to the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, and (in this case) search "Akershus Royal Banquet Hall." Click "Reserve Dining" and enter your party size. Then, enter between one and ten consecutive dates to search for reservations, and click "Next." Since you already know you want to dine there for breakfast, click the button under "Time" that says, "Before 12:00 PM," and it will show you what kind of availability there is at this time. I'm currently seeing some weekday breakfast availability for a party of four, so depending on your party size and time preferences, you might be able to find something!
Maire, another fantastic Character Dining experience at
EPCOT is
Garden Grill Restaurant. Chip 'n' Dale and their Disney pals will stop by your table while you dig in to all-you-care-to-enjoy classic favorites. If you've never dined there before, I highly recommend it!
I hope you have the best time during your vacation and I'll wish upon a star that you get all of the Advance Dining Reservations you need! Please stop back by with any other questions you have as you prepare for your visit!
See you real soon!
