    Is Akershus reopening and will characters be at all meals?

    Royal greetings, Madison! I’ve got some great news to share with you! Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT is once again open for Guests to have a most royal dining experience!

    Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall! The Disney Princesses will be there to meet and greet you as you enjoy a delicious Disney Dining meal at one of the most popular Character Dining experiences in the Walt Disney World Resort! Please note that character appearances are subject to change.

    Madison, because Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is so popular, I strongly encourage you to book your reservations 60 days in advance of your vacation arrival date! Based upon your provided vacation arrival date of October 31, 2023, you can begin making your Disney Dining reservations on the morning of September 1, 2023! I recommend being logged in to your My Disney Experience account online or on your My Disney Experience app around 5:45 to 6:00 AM to make those royal reservations!

    Have a wonderful time this fall at the Walt Disney World Resort! You're visiting at a great time of the year!
