    We are going to AK on Sun July 26 and it closes at 5 that day, do you think that there will be enough time to book the Pirates Fireworks Cruise for that evening or will there not be enough time? Trying to decide between that and swimming at resort? Thanks

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for visiting us again. My family just enjoyed the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage on our last trip and it was so much fun. The snacks were delicious, the "hosts" were hilarious and it was just a great family time.

    Since Wishes nighttime spectacular is currently scheduled for ten o'clock that evening, you should have plenty of time to make it from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to Disney's Contemporary Resort. In fact, stop by the Contempo Cafe and grab a bite to eat prior to your voyage--just be sure to save room for dessert. As an extra tip, when you call to make your reservation, request to be given odd numbered rows as it has been my experience that they are on the side of the boat closer to the fireworks.
