    Will be going to AK on 12/9. Is it reasonable to leave to dine at Boma and then return to park for extra magic hours or will this take too long? Traveling with 3 kids, ages 12, 9, 3.

    Hi Taura - While Animal Kingdom Lodge is close to Animal Kingdom, you may have to wait for a bus both leaving the park, and returning to the park.  In addition, it can take a while to be seated at Boma.

    However, Boma's one of my favorite restaurants, and I would highly recommend that you visit there.  If you do go to Animal Kingdom early in the day, I think you can definitely take some time out of your evening to have dinner.  I'd suggest that you make an early reservation, before Boma gets crowded.
