    We will be at AK when it is open until 8PM. Will Camp Minnie-Mickey & Winnie the Pooh be open for character greetings after it gets dark? In late Feb typically when is the last departure for the safari?

    Hi Wendy,

    Camp Minnie-Mickey  is usually open continuously from 10.00am until about 20 minutes prior to park closing each day.

    The character greeting location at Discovery Island (near Flame Tree Barbecue) where you will find Winnie the Pooh and friends is usually open continuously from park opening until about 20 minutes prior to park closing each day. 

    The Kilimanjaro Safaris last approximately 20 minutes and so you can expect the last safari of the day to leave approximately 20 minutes prior to park closing.

    Be sure to pick up a Times Guide as you enter the park and check the Character Greetings section for confirmation of when the Disney characters will be available for meet and greet on the particular day of your visit.
