Hello there, Heather!
It is great to hear from you. It sounds like you are quite the
Walt Disney World Resort planner. Rope drop, Lightning Lane Multi Pass, park hopping--you've got it all covered! Well done! You must be getting excited as you plan the last practically perfect details for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Both
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and
Magic Kingdom Park are full-day parks for me, but since you're only trying to experience a couple of attractions I don't see why your plan won't work. You can definitely purchase
Lightning Lane Multi Pass for a different park than you'll first be visiting as long as you have valid theme park admission tickets with the
Park Hopper Option and you don't have an annual pass or another ticket type that still requires
theme park reservations.
You can also purchase up to two Lightning Lane Single Passes per day and those could be for either park as they aren't tied to the multi pass. So, for instance, if you wanted to buy the single pass for
Avatar Flight of Passage and
TRON Lightcycle / Run, you could (subject to availability.) Since you won't be using the Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you'll have to wait until you've redeemed your first multi pass experience at Magic Kingdom Park to check the
My Disney Experience mobile app for availability to add another multi pass experience to your plans.
Happy planning, Heather! If you have any other questions, please come back and see us again. We are here to help.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
