Going to AK in August, with the heat thinking about going back to resort for a swim and returning to park later. What would be a good time to do that? Ds is not into parades. Will we still be able to do all the best things at AK?

    Hi Pam!!!

I definitely think this is a great idea!!  I do this almost daily on my Walt Disney World Vacations!!

On days when we are at Disney's Animal Kingdom I usually leave the park around 1:00pm to go back to the resort to rest up for an evening in the theme parks. I am always able to get most everything done in the four or so hours I am at the Animal Kingdom theme park.  I will usually spend two mornings at Disney's Animal Kingdom on a week long vacation and I am able to get everything done I want to there.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions!!

    Have a magical day!!!

    Scott
