Greetings, Mike!
Welcome back to planDisney! Hip, hip, hooray! It looks as if your adventure to Walt Disney World Resort is just a few short weeks away. I am sure that everyone in your travel party is getting excited as you count down the final days. This summer is an incredible time to visit.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind recently opened, giving your entire crew a chance to save the galaxy. And after you finish discovering the wonders of Xandar, be sure to check out the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Before you can start enjoying all that the four theme parks have to offer, you will of course have to arrive at Walt Disney World Resort from the airport. Let's go through some transportation options so you can cross this step off of your magical to-do list.
The return of Minnie Van Service to The Most Magical Place on Earth was
such exciting news. My family loves using this service to get back to our resort after a full day at the parks. While
Minnie Vans have started transporting Guests around Walt Disney World Resort again, they are not offering transportation to and from the airport just yet. But this doesn't mean you are destined to be stuck in the airport terminal for your entire vacation. There are a variety of options to get from MCO to your resort hotel. You can use your favorite ride share such as Lyft. There are also a variety of taxi options located on Level 1 of both the A and B sides of the terminal. You can choose private transportation options like MEARS Transportation for limos, private cars, and more. And finally, if you prefer to use a shared shuttle service, like MEARS Connect you can reserve your spot online before you arrive. There are a variety of shuttle services that operate out of the airport with numerous options that are designed to suit your family's needs. You can also book roundtrip excursions with many of these shuttle services. Once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort you will find an
abundance of complimentary transportation options to get you to the theme parks, resorts, Disney Springs, and water parks.
I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
